Ex-mormons in Mormon lives

One of our former members who dedicates his life to exposing our “mormon cult” - he is not truthful or concerned for others’ well being, but he is bitter and couldn’t hack it as a Mormon. I heard from his own mouth that he was excommunicated multiple times. He also loved to spend time with our missionaries just to prevent them from spreading the Gospel and when his son went on his mission, he followed him down to South America and made his life miserable. Which is scarier? Our supposed mormon cult or this obsessed man? His son had to go home because he was ruining everything.
