You can do the work offsite or on-site

Whenever you are fire rating steel, you have two possible options: you can do the work on-site or off-site. Many firms will elect to have their metals prepared off-site — at the point of manufacture or perhaps at a warehouse. The advantage of off-site preparation is that construction efforts will not be hampered in any way, nor will it be necessary to send a team onto the site once the structure has been assembled. Because your workers will not be involved at the construction site, they will probably be able to prepare a great deal more metal on a day-to-day basis, thereby making your operations much more efficient and cost effective.
