Fire Safety Regulations: Escape Routes Should Be Clear and Visible

July 16th, 2008 by admin

An important factor related to following fire safety regulations is learning to place signs, especially those that show where escape routes are. These signs must also contain textual information that will ensure that whoever sees the escape route signs will understand what they are and also understand how to get out of the building in the event that a fire breaks out in the building. The fire exits must be indicated very clearly and arrows should be used that point in the right direction. These signs should also contain accompanying text that will clearly spell out how residents can safely exit the building in case of a fire.
