Talk to other organizations that have implemented an automated church software and integrated scheduling software package.  They can tell you about the software and why they like or dislike it and they might even be able to provide you with feedback on how much time they are savings or how errors have been dramatically reduced in their church.Once you make the decision to get a church scheduling software package, make sure that you invite your office staff to the meetings where you will be discussing the purchase of this new product.  Remember that they are actual users and they might be able to provide you with a great deal of insight into what is important in a scheduling software package.

Scheduling does not restrict you to keeping track of masses and events but can also mean internal important dates such as staff meetings, director conferences and important dates during the year such as christmas, easter, passover and other worthwile dates during the year.

It can also mean audits, accounting decisions and financial goals.
