ROOM SERVICE

I’ll never forget my room service experience in a hotel where I stayed several years ago. A few hours before the convention, I was up in my room getting ready. I had my hair coiffed, and my gown was in my bed just waiting for me to slip it on. I called room service and ordered a plate of Bruschetta and a cup of Low Acidity Coffee to pass the time. When my order arrived, I asked the waiter to place it on the table. What happened next was so quick I hardly saw it coming. The waiter tripped on my high-heeled shoes. Both food and coffee went flying and landed on my new gown. I was so stunned I didn’t know how to react. The waiter was so apologetic and sincere that I didn’t have the heart to report him to the management. So, I didn’t get to wear my gown that night. But whenever I go back to that hotel, the hotel manager would be there to greet me and give me the best service that the hotel has to offer. Did I mention that the present manager and the waiter so many years ago are one and the same person?
