Generally it is best to plan ahead in life. When it comes to booking hotels, this is not always the case. I found a website that specializes in last minute london hotel rooms, and they promote their ability to give deals to the procrastinators. My group was lucky enough to find a special offer that applied to the time period that we wanted to take our trip near. It is a bit of a risk, as you are not guaranteed a specific hotel. But, if you are willing to take a walk on the wild side, I think that you will be surprised to see the results.
