Most of the time infant acid reflux produces symptoms that are a source of annoyance. Of course your baby may not think so. Do everything you can to help your infant get through this period in their life so that your baby can outgrow this physical setback without any negative side effects. Fortunately, even with this diagnosis, most of the babies are healthy and continue to gain weight. Symptoms of infant acid reflux include spitting or vomiting, coughing, occasional fussiness, or crying after eating. Acid reflux can cause burning sensation in the chest and throat. The symptoms may get bad enough to where the infant does not want to eat due to the discomfort experienced.
