He is Leaving for a While

A couple of days ago, I got a letter from a friend of mine. He told me that he was going to be leaving the country, and living in South Korea for the next year. I called him up to ask him what he was going to be doing while he was there, and he told me that he was going to be teaching English as a secondary language. He was very excited about the job, as well as eating all of the traditional foods that will be available. I told him that he has my support, and I wished him well.
