Embarrassing rash

I have come down with a bad rash around my pubic area. At first I thought I might have caught something, but it appears to be folliculitis around my pubic area due to shaving. I don’t know if it is my razor or if I need to start waxing instead. It just itches and is just not fun. For those that don’t know what folliculitis is, it is when hair follicles get infected, usually after shaving. This has happened before, but to a much lesser degree. I will just have to deal with it, as the information I have found says it usually goes away on its own after some time, provided the area is kept clean.
