Saving Your Privacy In Windows
October 18th, 2008 by admin
Do you know what the History folder is? Do you know where it’s located? Do you know what it does? The answer is that the history folder is where Windows stores all the different websites you’ve visited. And I mean all of them. It doesn’t discriminate. There are lots of stories about family members stumbling across the history folder on their computer and finding some not so savory websites.
If you want to clear your tracks after you use the internet then I suggest getting a privacy control program. Check out a ParetoLogic Privacy Controls review for more information on one of the best and most thorough privacy control programs available on the internet.

How can we be more eco friendly?
October 15th, 2008 by admin
More and more people are looking for ways to be more eco friendly but it is not always that clear how we can do this. A great way to start is to recycle. This can help reduce the amount of rubbish that is sent to landfill. We should also walk more and try to reduce the amount of foreign holidays that we take. We can purchase more Eco Friendly Products such as organic and chemical free items. We can switch to a green energy supply that will reduce a huge chunk of our household’s CO2. There are also many more ways to be eco friendly but these are a good start.

Doctor your PC
October 14th, 2008 by admin
Is your PC sick, and slow to get moving in the morning, does the case seem feverish, or making funny noises?
When this has happened to me, I know right away I need to run a PC Repair Program, or maybe even two.
PC errors and problems like this can come from recently installed programs, or maybe downloaded files that may have a viruses, or some other issues like this.
Its always a little bit of a shock to have that blue screen of death come up, or your computer says it has to shut down immediately since you have a fatal error. PC Repair programs will usually fix all of this, and more.

my wind turbine project
October 13th, 2008 by admin
I live in a very windy area, so naturally I’ve been thinking about buying one of those wind turbines generate electricity to power your home. I hear that they can be very effective in reducing your electricity bill. However, when I looked into how much they cost. I could not afford one. Then a friend told me about an amazing new book Earth 4 Energy Which basically tells you how to build your own wind turbines and solar panels. You can build these things out of everything you would find in your local DIY store, and it won’t break the bank either. So I’ve ordered the book, and next week, I should start work on my wind turbine project.

Driver Update For Your Windows Computers
October 12th, 2008 by admin
If you’re looking for Windows driver updates then there are several different methods that you can use. Personally I suggest looking into getting yourself the best driver update software to make everything much easier. These programs will scan your computer for all the hardware and drivers on your PC, and then cross check it with a master database of all the updated drivers available.
This takes the guesswork and hassle of updating all your drivers at once. Also, most of these programs will allow you to back up all your drivers, making things easier for yourself if you want to restore Windows with a reinstallation.

WHt the Sansa e200 is a great little music player
October 12th, 2008 by admin
The SanDisk Sansa e200 series combines copious features such as subscription compatibility, an FM tuner/recorder, voice recording, and photo and video playback into a compact and durable device. No AC adapter in package and the buttons surrounding the SanDisk Sansa e200’s scrollwheel can be difficult to press; the mechanical scrollwheel can tire out some thumbs; photos and video must go through conversion with bundled software says Sansa Reviews. The expansion slot can be used with music only, not photos or other media or data; and recordings are made only in WAV. The scrollwheel is not as easy to use as the iPod Click Wheel. Low levels of system noise can heard through headphones at low or zero volume.
