College Grants Can Get You Through School

November 13th, 2009 by admin

I am a single mom, work full time, and a full time student.  I am paying for my education with College Grants so that I don’t owe thousands in student loans when I graduate.

My ultimate goals in order are:

1. Raise healthy, happy, people who contribute positively to society

2.  Finish my education so that I can provide for them while I am raising them

3.  Excel in my career so that money is not a devastating factor in our lives

I love the fact that my children are watching me work for all that they have.  I know that when they graduate from high school, they will go to college and finish their education right away because they have seen the other option.  They will tell you that mommie works too hard, and that it’s tough to schedule family time with so many commitments all at once!

Unjustly Attacked

November 1st, 2009 by admin

What would it be like to be the son or daughter of someone like Fuad El-Hibri, a respected man in business? In the United States being a Muslim can be hard enough because people are judgmental at times. Not all people, but some. My parents lost a lot of business when the attack on the Twin Towers happened. It was very hard on us because we have learned to love this land and many of the people. We are just middle class, unlike Mr. El-Hibri, and so I wonder if he felt the effects of being Muslim here after the attack in New York City.

My Parents Taught me Not to be Late

October 29th, 2009 by admin

When I was growing up, my parents taught me early on to never be late for anything. They said that it was rude to keep others waiting, and that walking into a meeting after it had started kept other people from paying attention. So I was always really careful about it. But when I had kids, it suddenly got a lot harder. They didn’t understand the importance of being punctual, and I guess I thought they would learn it by osmosis. But after they made me late for a few things, I realized my mistake. I am now trying to teach them this important principle.

My Dream is to Become a Surgical Assistant

September 27th, 2009 by admin

Now that I have finished my high school education, I am eager to go on to the next stage of my education. No one in my family has ever made it past the 12th grade, so I am determined to do something more. I am planning on studying to become a surgical assistant. This has been my dream ever since the day I was looking through the career books in the library and then on the Internet. I realized that this particular career is one that I could excel in. I can’t wait to find a school and enroll in order to take classes.

Can You Learn the Language With Rocket Japanese?

September 26th, 2009 by admin

People everywhere are saying that Rocket Japanese is the best possible learning method if you want to learn the Japanese language. I read a wide variety of information about the product, and decided I had to see for myself. The product is sold in one of two formats. You can either download it directly onto your computer, or you can have it shipped to you on twenty disks. Be warned that the prices for each are different, however. As of today, the cost for the downloadable version is $99.99. The cost to have it shipped to you on the disks is $299.99. I would highly recommend doing what I did, and purchasing the downloadable version. However the shipped version may be best if you are planning to learn while you travel, as they are audio disks. The first thing I noticed about the content was how well it was put together. It was easy for me to find the information I was looking for, and I was happy to see that it taught everything from basic to advanced Japanese. It is in audio format, and includes thirty one separate lessons within the audio courses. It also includes thirty one culture and grammar lessons, which is really helpful. This program includes three different Japanese learning games which have been proven to make learning fun and effective. All of this also comes with access to their forum, where you will find other people who are also learning the language. All in all I would say that Rocket Japanese is the single best course for learning the language online. It is easy to find, easy to buy, and will give you all of the information you need to fully learn the language. Because of this, I would highly recommend Rocket Japanese to anybody. If you’re interested, read my rocket japanese review.

Web hosting packages

September 21st, 2009 by admin

When you purchase web hosting packages from a web service, you are getting a full package, not just the functionality of having your website live on the web under your control. Most web hosting packages include multiple email accounts, usually one per domain. The hosting plan also allows for a certain amount of bandwidth and storage, but usually much more than you really need, especially if you are just a blogger like myself. For those who are looking for a more robust solution, a godaddy promo code will provide you with a selection on web hosting package features to ensure your sites are live and stable, while allowing you to scale your projects in every way you see fit.

Lifelong Skills as a CNA

September 20th, 2009 by admin

There are few trainings and schools that I have gone through that really did provide memorable experiences but there are a couple that have stood out in my mind over the years. One of these such memories is when I went through a cna course.  I learned so much about being there for the patients and really listening to not only what ailed them physically, but mentally as well. What I learned through that course I have taken with me to every job position after that and in all my personal areas of my life as well and I love the great memories.
