Where Do People Put Cross Tattoos
July 20th, 2008 by admin
There are a number of places that you can put a cross tattoo, and for the most part you can put them anywhere that you want. But, there are more common placement areas for cross tattoos. It is pretty common to see crosses on the upper and lower arm, upper and lower back, nape, calf, leg, feet, wrists, and shoulders. In the end it is really up to you where you want to put your tattoo, but the common places are, well, the more popular. I guess it’s the area of the body and the way the body curves and is built that makes certain places more popular for certain tattoos.

Celtic tattoo design
June 19th, 2008 by admin
Last weekend was a weekend to remember. It was my bachelors party. We got wild. My buddies took me downtown in a limo. Apparently, they had the whole night planned. The highlight of the night was the tattoo. They picked out a Celtic tattoo design on line, purchased it and had it all ready for the tattoo artist. I was not drunk, but certainly not sober enough to object. In fact, I was glad my friends set me up - I always wanted a celtic tattoo. Well, because they bought the design on line custom for my arm size - the tattoo looks awesome!

Powerful designs
June 12th, 2008 by admin
When we say that tribal tattoo designs are “powerful designs” we are stating a literal fact that the tribes believed to be true about their work. Often tattoos were seen as possessing power and reflecting the power of the warrior. Although used as labels for their experience and accomplishments and even tribal symbols these designs were reflections using animals shapes and more to show the power the warrior possessed. A bear for example is strength, a cheetah grace and power with speed, and so forth. People feared the person with certain ones and often they maintained a healthy respect as well.

The Stars were shining bright
June 6th, 2008 by admin
One of TV’s highest rated shows just finished off another amazing season and it was a star studded one at that. Dancing with the stars had the audience reeling from all of the drama, action, and above everything, all of that dancing! Kristy Yamaguchi was this year’s top star but she was given a run for her money by football player Jason Taylor. To be honest, one of my favorite dancers was Marissa Jaret Winokur because of her bubbly attitude. I was certainly sad to see her go. Let’s not forget about the costumes. WOW, is all I can say about the dancewear. Those outfits were often times more outrageous than the dances themselves, and I mean that in a very good way. What’s great about shows like Dancing With The Stars, is that it’s having a positive affect on the exercise of children. With the addition of a new PC game, Dancing with the stars is bringing the joy of dancing to people everywhere. Hopefully, (and I suspect it will), this show will be around entertaining audiences for many years to come. And let’s also hope that Carrie and Bruno will continue to duke it out, because that certainly makes for good television.

Don’t Rule Out Used Guitars
June 4th, 2008 by admin
For someone who plays guitar, finding the perfect instrument is probably one of the most satisfying things that can happen to them. A lot of different factors have to come together in order to find that perfect electric or acoustic guitar, but of course the main consideration is the sound of the instrument. Other things that come into play are the type of action the guitar has, and its ability to stay in tune. When it comes to the feel, each player will have his own opinion on what’s most desirable. When looking for that perfect guitar, remember to check out some used guitars. You may find a hidden gem with characteristics that are no longer available or cost mucho dinero in a new instrument.

Beauty of Life
May 18th, 2008 by admin
I love beauty, in nature, in a sunrise, in life. Like almost every male that ever wanted to be a professional photographer I looked into modeling photography. You will never find such an abundance of beautiful women in any other aspect of photography. It should be noted, however, that this field of photography is highly competitive even more so than for the ladies wanting to be the models. If you are lucky enough to get a start in this field make sure to establish your reputation early. With out a well established resume in the field most agencies won’t give you the time of day. This is a business built on trusted friendships and reputations.

Brian and Wendy Froud: fairy art for the next generation
May 2nd, 2008 by admin
The fairy art of Brian and Wendy Froud has become a veritable industry in itself. With a collection of books, calendars and even a fairy oracle, Froud’s work has come to embody the modern interpretation of faeries. Fairy art has been popular, to varying degrees, for centuries. Today we are seeing a new renaissance of this genre, which goes along with popular movies and books that feature faeries, elves and other creatures of the twilight or netherworlds. There will always be a market for fairy art and the Frouds have managed to create an incredible diversity of images that has brought new life to this old genre.

Why The Difference?
May 2nd, 2008 by admin
I have recently been looking into purchasing a pocket watch, and looking at pictures of old pocket watches I notice that different types of watches have the stems located in different places, and I am wondering why this is the case. Why don’t they all have the stems in the same location, wouldn’t you think that would have been a standard thing? Yet some I have seen have the stems at the six o’clock position, some at the twelve o’clock position, and some are at the three o’clock position. Does anyone know why this was done? They must have had a reason.

How young is too young for body jewelry?
April 26th, 2008 by admin
How young is too young for body jewelry? I have a teenage daughter who wants her belly button pierced. She keeps hounding me about it, and I keep telling her that I think she is too young. Many of her friends have their navels pierced, but I just cannot bring myself to take her to have hers pierced. I’m not sure if I think she is too young, or if I just don’t want to accept the fact that my baby is growing up. Would I be a bad mother for allowing her to get her belly button pierced? Maybe I am being unreasonable and should just allow her to do it.

Searching for information on the Internet
April 4th, 2008 by admin
Searching for information on the internet is very easy. First you have to decide what type of information you are looking for, then you should pick a few key words so that you can find the information you are looking for and narrow down the results so you don’t get too much irrelevant information. For example, if you wanted to find out about dance lessons for your wedding in Sydney, Australia, you might search for “wedding dance lessons Sydney“. That way you would get information on dance lessons, but it would be narrowed down to sites talking about lessons for weddings, and further narrowed down to those in Sydney.
