Ways to increase site traffic

Content is the king in attracting site traffic. The content should be as relevant as possible to the goal of the website. It’s important to have keyword rich content that is engaging, interesting and purposeful. Using keywords, however, doesn’t mean that the content has to be laden with jargons as doing so will scare off the visitors. If a site talks about biological research then putting irrelevant material, say data about the stock market would be appropriate and irrelevant. There are a variety of tools such as traffic meter, traffic analyzer, and traffic calculator, to measure the web traffic. The function of most of these tools is almost the same.
