Novelty number plates are almost similar to the number plates that are issued by the government except the fact that they are not used for registration purpose. As a matter of fact, they are used for novelty or decorative purpose. These plates are made from the same material as the number plates for registration purpose. Novelty plates come in different genres starting from cars and bikes to even cartoon characters. You can even add some words on own to these plates. But there are also certain limitations attached to these novelty number plates. The first is that only a few colors are available. Secondly there are strict rules on the number of characters that can be used in each line. Finally copyrighted and licensed logos cannot be used without the permission of the owner.
