Eastern Iowa shares tourists

People devoted to increase eastern Iowa tourism are forming an association where they can network and get some fresh new ideas on how to attract the tourism dollars spent in other close by areas. There seems to be a feeling that the typical tourist goes to one attraction and never leaves there for the entire vacation. One idea that was floated was to allow free advertising of the association members at other members attractions thus planting the idea in the tourists head that there may be other things to see and do in the local area without spending a lot of money or time traveling.
