Cosmetic Products That Cause Aging, Allergies and Cancer

Watch out for advertisers slick advertising and buzzwords. Products labelled natural or hypoallergenic aren’t necessarily either of those things. Every day cosmetic companies are developing new products they claim are more natural, healthy or more effective. When Revlon’s director of public relations, Dan Moriarty was asked about Revlon’s New Age Natural cosmetic lines he says, “the base formulas are the same as our conventional formulas. the cosmetics products” methyl, propyl, butyl and ethyl parabens are used as chemical preservatives. In addition to being toxic, these chemicals have recently been shown to have estrogenic effects; of growing concern in relation to women’s risk of breast cancer.
