With a collection of books, calendars and even a fairy oracle, Froud’s work has come to embody the modern interpretation of faeries. Fairy art has been popular, to varying degrees, for centuries. Today we are seeing a new renaissance of this genre, which goes along with popular movies and books that feature faeries, elves and other creatures of the twilight or netherworlds. There will always be a market for fairy art and the Frouds have managed to create an incredible diversity of images that has brought new life to this old genre.
