My Cousin Got Married

My cousin got married last weekend.  She and her husband had been together 6 years before they decided to tie the knot.  Growing up in the 60’s, they were both a big fan of the beatles music and they had one of their songs as their wedding song.  It was a beautiful ceremony held outside in the extreme heat. Some people dressed for the heat, while others wore fancy clothes, like you would at a regular wedding.  After the couple was married they went and changed their clothes and dressed in bathing suits, even though there wasn’t a pool around.  None the less, we all had fun.

The recession seems to have hit the South East of England pretty hard.  The new home developers in the south of England have been noticable by their absence.  However, now that houses are selling again, it won’t be long until they start up again.  Some of the houses are just ghastly and so samey, they look like shoe boxes.  I like a home to look unique both inside and out, which is why I live in a farm house.  There are some similar ones in the area, but they are all different and have a variety of different features which make them all distinctive.

Perfect Patio

Last year I became a homeowner for the first time. I was thrilled to have found a townhouse that fit my budget. When I moved in I knew I wanted to do something to the back yard but wasn’t sure what. Bare except for a slab of cement for a patio it had no personality or entertainment value. My sister suggested I look around at small hot tubs. This turned out to be a great idea. I found one that fit my budget and yard. Once it was installed I added a few lawn chairs and some twinkling lights and now I have the perfect patio.
