Vulnerable
April 30th, 2008 by admin
I am completely vulnerable and gullible. I have been filling out surveys and forms by the dozens whenever they come in my mailbox or pop up on the internet. I had no idea that people can get paid to fill these out. Since I found out that I can make money from these surveys I started doing my homework. I am told that there are free online paid survey sites that just by the title you do not have to pay to start working. Again, I am just that vulnerable that I may have paid to join had I not researched first.

Bridal gown from toilet paper — Christchurch wedding expo competiton
April 30th, 2008 by admin
Did you hear about the bridal gowns made from toilet paper? How can that be? I hear you asking, and I have to say it was my own first reaction. But, having seen the photos of the finished product, I’ve got to admit that the strangest materials can be used to make the most polished, lively garments.A competition here in Christchurch, New Zealand, attracted eight bridal outfit designers. Each was permitted by the rules to use just two four-packs of double length toilet tissue — about 16 rolls — and the dresses were astounding. The designer of winning gown, Vicky Heir, needed only 10 rolls to take the prize. And it was absolutely stunning, according to the judges. The gowns were shown at the city’s recent Wedding Expo, and a number of christchurch wedding venues were also promoted.

Kids And Baby Turtle Don’t Mix
April 30th, 2008 by admin
Kids and baby turtles may seem a harmless combination, until one considers that this union was the main cause of more than a quarter million cases of reptile-associated salmonellosis, primarily in children, that occurred annually during the 1970s when the pet turtle craze was at its peak. During the 1970s it became something of a fad to buy turtles about the size of a silver dollar, along with a small water bowl and plastic palm tree. Many people contracted reptile-associated salmonellosis through direct and indirect contact with these turtles. Children were prone to placing the turtles in their mouths or ingesting bacteria left on their hands after handling the turtles.

Ahh the soft dog beds are the best!
April 29th, 2008 by admin
Your dog deserves a great bed. When you go to the pet store you can see a selection of great soft dog beds. They feel soft to the touch like a kitten or puppy’s fur. Dogs and cats enjoy the soft beds as much as we do. They prefer a bed to the floor, a couch to the carpet and a soft bed to the grass. Dogs are a great part of our society and perform many useful and valuable functions in society from walking the blind to saving lives. These devoted creatures need us as much as we need them!

Great Solution For Us
April 29th, 2008 by admin
We bought a new house, and there is a pool in the backyard. We really don’t want or need a pool, so we are planning to get rid of it. The main problem is what to do with the spot where the pool is located. The pool is sitting on top of rocky fill, so nothing can be planted there. My husband finally came up with the perfect solution, and outdoor gazebo. We are going to give the pool away to whoever will come and take it, and then buy a gazebo to sit there instead. It will be nice for when we entertain.

MaxGXL, a medical breakthrough.
April 29th, 2008 by admin
While searching online for something that might help me deal with my fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue, I came across a site selling MaxGXL.
Now, while I’m not going to jump on the bandwagon about weather this stuff is good or not, I’m intrigued at the very least as weather or not this works.
Before today I hadn’t even heard of glutathione which is a natural antioxidant produced by the human body. Supposedly many of us who suffer chronic illness show a significant lack of this substance and it’s hard to replace it naturally.
Now, one thing that really stood out to me is that the former director of the American Medical Association used it and thought it to be a significant breakthrough for medical science!

Business time management is essential
April 28th, 2008 by admin
Effective time management is impossible if you do not keep a good time plan. With a time plan you can organize and plan your day so you achieve everything you need to. What you need to do is to write down everything you need to do in the day ahead and allocate a specific time for each task. This will only take you five or ten minutes and will give you focus and direction as you begin your day and help to improve your business time management. Write down all meetings and other tasks that have to be seen to at a certain time. Then you can write in other tasks that you need to complete at times that suit you. For work, it is best to allocate chunks of time that suit your attention span. Do this each day and you will have taken a big step towards managing your time effectively.

No Time
April 28th, 2008 by admin
I knew there would come a time in my life that I would not be able to keep up with my favorite authors. Now that I have 4 children and a part time job I believe that my favorite author has recently put out 2 books that I have not had time to delve into. I think I will start looking into audio books so I can listen to them any time. Even when doing the housework I can listen to audiobooks on my MP3 player. It’s great that even when driving to work I can keep up with my favourite authors.

I think the Disney crib bedding is so cute.
April 28th, 2008 by admin
My daughter is having a baby. I went shopping with her today. She was looking for crib bedding. She didn’t buy a bedding set for the crib, because she couldn’t decide which one she liked the best. I think the Disney crib bedding is so cute. If she asks for advice and opinions, that’s the set I am going to tell her to buy. She doesn’t know what she is having, and she doesn’t want to know. The Disney bedding would look great in the nursery, whether she has a girl or a boy.
